The Future of Bridal, Moderated by The Business of Fashion

Becca Wenning ·

On Monday, October 12, 2026, during New York Bridal Fashion Week, Dressit founder Becca Wenning joined The Future of Bridal, a panel hosted by Loved Twice Bridal at The Good Six in New York and moderated by Haley Crawford of The Business of Fashion (BoF). The panel asked where bridal is headed, and who is shaping it, through three lenses: sustainability, the consumer, and the future of production.

The technology voice on the panel

On the panel, moderated by Haley Crawford of The Business of Fashion, I was asked to be the technology voice alongside Chelsea Jackson of Showroom Theory and Altar Magazine, the voice this industry trusts, Sarah Ghabbour of Loved Twice Bridal on resale, Megan Kothari of AARYAH on jewelry, and Madelyn Hunt of CINQ as the independent designer. We agreed on more than anyone expected. Bridal is shifting, fast. The brides are there. The creators covering bridal are there. There is more room than ever to meet and serve brides in different ways.

It was evident this week that my voice, my research and my experience matter here. I am building the technology so stories can be heard, can be connected, and can travel: from the designer who makes the dress, through the boutique where it is tried on, to the bride who chooses it.

Becca Wenning, founder and CEO of Dressit

Becca invested in an established bridal boutique in 2010, became its sole owner in 2013 and ran it until 2020. For ten years she walked market as a buyer. Today she leads Dressit, customer intelligence technology for bridal designers who sell through boutiques. Through Bria, one link a designer shares everywhere, Dressit turns social and trunk show traffic into consented, first-party bride profiles: who is shopping, which gowns brides love, and where they want to try them on.
